Royal Air Maroc and Visa unveil the first co-branded cards for loyalty program in partnership with renowned banks

Casablanca, 28 February 2024:  Royal Air Maroc and Visa, a world leader in digital payments, are breaking new grounds in terms of services, launching a new and innovative program of co-branded bank cards, now available from partner banks branches. To bring this tailor-made concept to fruition, the two operators, together with the renowned banking groups Attijariwafa bank and Bank of Africa, are launching this innovative offer, which represents a first in the banking and air transport sectors in Morocco.

The partnership signing ceremony took place on Wednesday February 28 in Casablanca, in the presence of senior representatives from Royal Air Maroc, Visa, Attijariwafa bank and Bank of Africa. This initiative reflects the commitment of these industry-leaders to encourage the adoption of new payment solutions while revolutionizing the travel experience, and to developing products and services tailored to the evolving consumer needs of Moroccans.

Safar Flyer members and co-branded cardholders will benefit from exclusive advantages for all payments in Morocco and abroad, thanks to personalized offers from partner banks.

The Royal Air Maroc Visa co-branded card: exclusive advantages with every transaction

Royal Air Maroc's co-branded cards offer a host of exclusive advantages for Safar Flyer customers of the national airline and its partner banks.  

Issued by the latter, these cards enable Miles to be earned on every transaction made with the card, and rewards such as full or partial payment of flight tickets (Award tickets or combined Cash&Miles), payment of upgrades, baggage fees, etc. to be obtained simply and seamlessly.

Depending on the card chosen, holders of co-branded bank cards also benefit from exclusive advantages such as welcome miles, fast-track check-in at airports, free check-in of additional baggage and access to Royal Air Maroc VIP lounges...

In addition, to ensure better follow-up and satisfaction of co-branded bank card holders, a personalized Customer Service has been set up, through a dedicated call center and email address communicated to the members concerned.

Customers can subscribe to the Royal Air Maroc co-branded bank card at the branches of partner banks, each of which has developed a dedicated range of cards and benefits. They must also join Royal Air Maroc's Safar Flyer loyalty program if they are not already members.
